Australia's Chances in Cricket World Cup 2011

After watching so much twenty20 cricket here and from India and Australia's failure to retake the ashes, I am looking forward to some 50 over action. I have seen the past 4 Cricket World Cups and have enjoyed them all.

It is exciting to see new faces in the Australian team for this years cup. I can only hope they perform well in India as they have done here for their respected state teams.

Little has come from the one day tournament played here against England.
The English looked as though they had little interest after defeating Australia so convincingly in the Ashes series.

Australia will go into the World Cup perhaps as equal favourites with the home side, India, but in my opinion their recent form is very misleading.
