This commercial arises few questions to Bangladeshi fans, specially, why, being a host country, no Bangladesh flag is shown there? Many of Bangladeshi Blogs and Facebook users expressed their concern about the commercial and already showed a doubt, if this is ignorance or not. Unauthentic sources said, BCB has declined to run the commercial in local tv channels because of this.
In Bangladeshi supporters minds, at present, another agenda is going through, if opening ceremony contains their culture and norms as well as India and Sri Lanka, the other two host nations.
Still to receive any comments from BCB or ICC in this matter. But when Indian channels and other sports channels are telecasting the commercial to create the hype, NO BANGLADESHI CHANNEL is telecasting the commercial. Only the question is, Is this an intentional ignorance and does ICC has a same open eye to all the hosts?
