ICC announces ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 Licensing and Merchandise opportunity

(Press Release from the ICC): The ICC and Licensing in Motion (LIM) have announced merchandising opportunities at future events as part of LIM’s exclusive agency for licensing, merchandise and memorabilia at all ICC events up to 2015. In 2008, LIM was appointed as the worldwide exclusive agent for all ICC events and brands for the period up to and including the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. With such events as the ICC Champions Trophy, ICC World Twenty20 and ICC Cricket World Cups, there are plenty of great opportunities to become an official licensee or retailer selling ICC official Merchandise.

LIM is now seeking experienced and responsible companies and individuals who are interested in becoming an official licensee of the ICC. In addition to product providers, this includes those who operate venue concessions, retail chains and superstores, not only for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 but all ICC events up to 2015. All licensed products included in the merchandise and memorabilia programme will have to be designed and produced in accordance with the tournament style guides, which provide clear guidelines for the use and application of all ICC marks, event logos and mascots.

Only official licensed merchandise may carry the event marks of the ICC and all products must be submitted for approval and quality control. For a copy of the ICC licensing and merchandising expression of interest document, please contact Aaron Bester at licensing@icc-cricket.com.

LIM is the worldwide exclusive agent for the ICC with respect to all of its events and brands for the period up until the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. It oversees the production of a formal range of products including supporter apparel and headwear, webstore, venue concessionaire, memorabilia, equipment, giftware and hard goods.
